Merry Christmas from Uganda!!
Well it has been a little more than 3 months living
in the
village of Nabisooto and what an adventure! This entire
experience has taught me numerous things…
like counting my blessings… enjoying the
simplicities of life…
and getting back to the basics of what is important.
What is important in your life???
Is it stuff or relationships with people???
There is a saying that “life isn’t measured in
the breathes
you take
but in the moments that take your breath away!”
How many breathtaking moments have you had
within 2013?
Breathtaking moments happen when life is lived
intentionally…
when that small, quiet voice is listened to and
obeyed…
when the silver lining is found despite the
darkness of the cloud…
when love is shared despite the feeling…
and when thankfulness exudes despite the circumstances!
